A Female Italian Volunteer Appreciated

Chiara and a Carpentry Boy.

The presence of the Italian volunteers here in the diocese has created a wonderful experience among the carpentry boys.

 

Speaking during the farewell of Chiara Bertoletn, a female volunteer, Mr. Dominic Miavana expressed his appreciation, for being open to all male workers. Dominic said that although she is a female she has a great ability and courage to do boys' work.

 

She received her recognition from the bishop for her 3rd session of voluntary work here in the Solomons.

 

Ms Chiara Bertoletn who survived a traffic accident in Brazil claims her friend's death caused her to visit the Solomons twice for voluntary work on Tetere projects. Her third visitation was to build up the friendship between working partners. This helped her to overcome her emotional disturbances from the loss of her friend in the traffic accident.
